The Origin Story

Stefan Antoni's
First House

In 1991, a young architect named Stefan Antoni completed his first residential commission on the slopes of Clifton. That house would become the foundation of what is now SAOTA — one of the world's most celebrated architectural practices.

Three decades later, the property is being reimagined — honouring its heritage while embracing a new vision for contemporary Cape Town living.
